Building inClusive communities seminar series: Dr. Tariana V. Little

February 8, 2021

The fourth event in our 2020-2021 virtual series was led by Dr. Tariana V. Little and titled “Transforming Setbacks into Success: A Framework to Fail Forward.”

Dr. Little began the workshop by sharing her journey. This created space for an exceptionally engaging reflection and discussion that followed. She guided participants through a curated framework with the goal of recontextualizing set-backs. The main take away from the event was not only how failures can be redefined, but how they don’t define us as human beings. Instead we chose to define ourselves, among many other things, as learners, sisters, community builders, and friends.
